How the 3-Hole Band Works: Every Attachment Explained

Updated

Most cock rings do one thing. Ours were designed to do a lot more. The Silicone Workshop 3-hole band is one size that fits many, with three holes that take swappable attachments. You choose what goes in each hole, change it whenever you like, and build a ring that's yours.

The question we hear most at events is simple: how do the attachments work? This guide answers it, attachment by attachment.

The band

Everything starts with the band: a stretchy ring made from 100% platinum-cured silicone. It's phthalate free, EN71-3 compliant, and patent pending.

Two things make it different:

  • One size fits many. We designed the band to stretch, so you don't need to measure and guess between sizes.
  • Three holes for attachments. Each hole takes an add-on. Use one, two, three, or none, and swap them any time.

The band is worn behind the testicles, around the base of the penis and the scrotum together.

Bands come in Black, Translucent, Totally Naked, Cherry Red, and three glow-in-the-dark colors: Alien Green, Hi-Viz and Safety Cone Orange. See all 3-hole bands.

The attachments

Barbells: pressure and style

Barbells plug into the band's holes and add pressure points where the band sits. They also change the look of the ring. They come in silicone and in stainless steel.

Bands with stainless steel attachments are our best sellers. Steel attachments add pressure points and a striking look.

Spikes: pressure with an edge

Spikes work like barbells, adding pressure points and style, with a bolder spiked look. They come in silicone and stainless steel.

Splitter: a shaft ring plus pressure between the balls

The splitter does two things at once. It adds a separate ring around the shaft, and it puts pressure between the testicles. With the band behind the testicles and the splitter in place, you get a cock-and-ball ring and a shaft ring in one setup.

Beads: anal beads that attach to the band

The beads attachment is a string of silicone anal beads that connects to the band.

Mix and match

Because every attachment uses the same holes, you can combine them. A few ideas:

  • Three stainless steel barbells: our best-selling setup. Black or translucent.
  • Splitter plus barbells: a shaft ring and pressure between the balls, with barbells in the remaining holes.
  • Beads plus spikes: anal beads and bold spikes on one band.
  • Mixed colors: pair a glow-in-the-dark band with steel attachments, or a translucent band with black add-ons.

Not sure where to start? Our popular custom combinations are ready to go, or pick a band and add-ons separately.

Quick answers

How is the band worn?

Behind the testicles, around the base of the penis and the scrotum together.

Do I have to use all three holes?

No. Use as many attachments as you like, from none to three.

Can I change attachments later?

Yes. Attachments are swappable, so you can change your setup whenever you want.

What size do I need?

The band is designed as one size that fits many, so there's no size to choose.

What's your most popular setup?

Bands with stainless steel attachments.

Wear it safely

Whatever you build, the usual cock ring guidance applies. Take it off right away if you feel pain or numbness or notice skin color changes, don't sleep in it, and talk to a doctor first if you have a condition that affects blood flow or take blood thinners. Most health sources suggest about 30 minutes at a time.
