The Big Ball Ring Explained: How It's Worn and Who It's For
Updated
Our 3-hole band is all about building your own setup: a band, three holes, and a pile of attachments to mix and match. The Big Ball Ring goes the other way. It's one piece, it's ready the moment you open the package, and it has one job: a snug ring with a built-in "big ball" stimulator right where you'll feel it. It's also easy: easy to get on, easy to get off, and quick to clean up.
It's challenging to be a pornstar every day so we built the Big Ball Ring for the weekday warrior.
If you've seen it at our booth or in the shop and wondered how it's worn, who it suits, or how it compares to the 3-hole band, this guide covers it.

What is the Big Ball Ring?
The Big Ball Ring is a one-piece, stretchable cock ring with a built-in "big ball" stimulator. Like everything else we make in silicone, it's hand poured in platinum-cured silicone. It's phthalate free and EN71-3 compliant, and it's designed and tested in the USA.
The key thing to know is that there's nothing to assemble. No holes to fill (mm... well, except one big main hole 😜), no attachments to choose, nothing to twist in. The ball is part of the ring itself.
Easy on, easy off, easy to clean
This is the ring for when you don't want any fuss:
- Easy to get on. It's soft, stretchy silicone, so it slips into place without a fight.
- Easy to get off. The same stretch means it comes off just as easily when you're done.
- Quick to clean up. One piece, no holes or attachments, so there's nothing to take apart. Wash it, rinse it, let it dry.
How the Big Ball Ring is worn
It's worn the same way as our 3-hole band: behind the testicles, around the base of the penis and the scrotum together. It's usually worn with the big ball on the bottom, sitting near the perineum/taint (the area between the testicles and the anus).
Putting it on, step by step
- Start soft. A ring is much easier to put on before you're erect. But not always an option!
- Add a little water-based lube to the inside of the ring and to your skin so it slides into place.
- Position the ball. Hold the ring so the big ball is at the bottom, where it will sit near the perineum/taint.
- Penis first. Stretch the ring and guide the penis through.
- Then the testicles. Bring them through one at a time, so the ring sits behind the testicles and around the base of the shaft, with the ball underneath. I usually pull at the bottom of the ring and do any final side to side adjustments.
- Check the fit. The ring should sit flat with no twists, and nothing should be pinched. Here is where having some water-based lube can help and prevent pinched hairs and skin. Snug is good; painful is not.
Where should the ball go? Anywhere you like: on the bottom, on top or to one side. We suggest the bottom because that's how our founders prefer it, but it's your call.
Taking it off is the same process in reverse: wait until you've mostly lost your erection, stretch the ring away from your skin, free one testicle at a time, then the penis. Slow and steady wins the race. A bit of extra lube helps (like always, like for everything else in life 🤠).

What does the big ball do?
The ring itself works like any cock-and-ball ring: it sits snug at the base and adds gentle pressure. The big ball adds something extra. Worn on the bottom of the ring, it adds a single, focused point of pressure near the perineum/taint, without anything else on the ring competing for attention.
Think of it as the simple, all-in-one version of what our attachments do on the 3-hole band. Instead of choosing where to add pressure, the Big Ball Ring puts it in one spot for you.
What size is it?
The Big Ball Ring is the same size as our 3-hole band: 2½ inches across, and it's one size fits most, just like the band. There's no size to choose. We spent about two years testing various ring diameters by giving out samples at bars and events, and directly to friends. That feedback from the local communities in Las Vegas and Palm Springs shaped the current size.
Who is the Big Ball Ring for?
Beginners who want an easy first ring
If you're new to cock rings and the idea of choosing bands and add-ons feels like a lot, the Big Ball Ring is a great place to start. It's stretchy silicone, which is what we suggest for a first ring anyway, and there are no decisions to make beyond the color.
Anyone who likes perineum/taint pressure
If you already know you enjoy pressure in that area, the big ball puts it right there, every time you wear it.
People who like to grab and go
No parts means nothing to lose, nothing to line up, and nothing to take apart afterwards. It's a good ring to keep in a bag for a night out or a weekend away.
Gear fans who want a color to match
The Big Ball Ring comes in seven colors, the same as our bands, including the glow-in-the-dark range, so it fits right in with the rest of your gear.

Big Ball Ring or 3-hole band?
Both are worn behind the testicles, both are hand-poured platinum-cured silicone, and both come in the same colors. The difference is how much you want to customize.
- Choose the Big Ball Ring if you want one simple piece with built-in pressure near the perineum and nothing to put together.
- Choose the 3-hole band if you want to build your own setup. It takes up to three swappable attachments: silicone or stainless steel barbells, silicone or stainless steel spikes, the splitter and beads. Add or remove them to change the size and feel.
Short demo of the other option: a 3-hole band with three silicone barbells.
You don't have to pick just one: the Big Ball Ring for easy, no-fuss nights, and a band for when you want to play with attachments. Want to know more about the band? Read How the 3-Hole Band Works, or see our popular custom combinations.
Wear it safely
The Big Ball Ring is an adult novelty, not a medical device, and the usual cock ring rules apply:
- Keep it to 30 minutes or less at a time, then take it off and give your body a break.
- Take it off right away if you feel pain, numbness or coldness.
- Use water-based lube.
- Never sleep in a ring.
- If a ring won't come off, get medical help.
Cleaning
Because it's one piece, there's nothing to take apart before washing. Hand wash it after every use with warm water and a mild, unscented soap, rinse well, and let it air dry completely before storing it.
